Still Waters is our Christian retreat in Croatia for rest, renewal and unhurried time with God.
Over seven or eight days, a small group of up to eight guests slows the pace and enjoys a gentle mix of nature, beautiful Croatian towns, quiet beaches, fellowship and meaningful time in God’s presence.
Rather than filling every day with activities, this journey intentionally leaves room to breathe. We may walk through forests, explore waterfalls and villages, spend several days on Rab Island, swim in the Adriatic, share meals, pray together or simply sit somewhere beautiful with nowhere else to be.

Still Waters is ideal for Christians who are looking for a slower, more restorative vacation — whether you need a break from a busy season, want intentional time with God, or simply prefer meaningful experiences over a packed sightseeing schedule.
Even if you usually enjoy staying busy, if you sense that it’s time to slow down, Still Waters gives you a beautiful way to do that.
📅 When is the best time for this journey?
Late spring through early autumn is ideal if you want to enjoy Rab Island, beaches and swimming.
Still Waters also works beautifully outside the main summer season, when Croatia becomes quieter and there is even more space for rest and reflection.
👣 Typical 7- or 8-Day Itinerary
Sunday – Arrival
Gathering around the table. Rest in Him.
Monday – Let’s Ease Into This
Gospel Morning. Forest walk. Experience the town of Karlovac or Petrova Mountain. Stop at a store.
Tuesday – Discover Rastoke
Amazing town built on waterfalls. Stunning river source. Awesome caves. Authentic local farms.
Wednesday – Optional: Guided Fasting
Have you ever tried fasting? Take time to slow down and listen to the Lord. Later, we leave for Rab Island.
Thursday – Hiking Along Lonely Beaches
Easy tour. Beautiful sandy beaches. Time to just be and play. Visit the former communist prison island Goli Otok. Prayer Evening.
Friday – Optional: Day on the Water (+€125 per person)
Let’s rent a boat or go sea kayaking. Discover more secluded places. Time for souvenir shopping and fellowship.
Saturday – Let’s Be Tourists Today
Options abound. Island of Krk. City of Rijeka. More swimming, more sightseeing. Good food. Great people.
Sunday – Goodbye for Now
One last devotion and fellowship time. Departure.
